“Paradox of presence”
A series of seven large-scale (110 x 90cm) abstract paintings born from an intuitive, emotional process.
It explores the tension between inner longing and outer reality: a personal contrast between the quiet pull of nature and solitude, and the vivid demands of urban life and surface beauty.
Living and working in the heart of a city — surrounded by noise, aesthetics, and expectations —the artist reflects on the desire to escape, to ground oneself, to breathe. This paradox is not a conflict to be solved, but a state to be witnessed: being present in two worls at once.
The works are layered, gestural, and raw, holding space for both stillness and restlessness.
